CarBrite: Their Three Best Products

I have sampled CarBrite’s entire line of car detailing chemicals and accessories, and though their products are superb, I find that these three products are must-have stand out products for your detailing business.

1. Acid Wheel Cleaner (previously called white lightning). This is hands-down the most powerful wheel cleaner in the world. It removes normal dirt and dust by simply spraying on and washing off…no scrubbing needed. For exceptionally caked-on brake dust, spray on CarBrite’s acid wheel cleaner diluted powerfully at 1:1 acid:water, agitate with a painter’s brush, then pressure wash. If you can’t get wheels clean with CarBrite’s wheel acid, some agitation using a soft brush, and a pressure washer…they simply cannot be cleaned at all.
2. Color Coded Assortment of 11 Spray Bottles. Spray bottles may seem like a minor detail, but when you’re running a busy and sometimes confusing shop, it’s a major help to have every chemical in a color-coded bottle. Indeed, Meguiars offers color coded bottles, but do not offer 11 unique colors for 11 unique chemicals (silicone dressing, acid, degreaser, water based dressing, spray detailer, interior cleaner, shampoo, etc.). Even if you don’t use CarBrite’s chemicals, be sure to use their bottles to easily identify the 8+ chemicals you use every day in your detail shop.
3. 1.5″ Vinyl Crevice Tool. Again, seemingly not a critical piece of equipment but they were essential to my operation for one critical reason: the CarBrite vacuum attachments were significantly more durable than those provided by the OEM manufacturer (in this case Rigid). Rigid vacuum tips would crack easily. We would lose vacuum pressure at the tip of our vacuum cleaners. I don’t ever recall having a CarBrite crevice tool crack or have to be replaced for any reason.
